Children Satsanga celebrated the Avirbhav and Mahasamadhi Divas of Sri Sri Lahiri Mahashya at YSS Noida Ashram on October 1, 2017.

The programme conducted in the basement Dhyana Mandir drew thirty-five children. Beginning with YSS Energisation Exercises, the volunteers led the attendees through the opening prayer and chanting.

A devotee volunteer made a presentation on the life of Sri Sri Lahiri Mahasaya as highlights of his life were being described to the attentive audience of young ones. The slides of the presentation kept the children hooked, and the stories of Yogavatar Lahiri Mahasaya kept them enthralled. They promptly answered questions about his life when quizzed later by the volunteer devotees.

Brahmachari Dhairyanandaji graced the occasion with his serene presence. He applauded the enthusiasm of the little ones of Gurudeva.

Brahmachariji shared stories from the life of Lahiri Mahasaya. He narrated the incident of Gurudeva Sri Sri Paramahansa Yoganandaji’s healing from Asiatic cholera and story of the photo of Lahiri Mahasaya. He also recounted his own near-death experience of almost drowning in deep waters, claiming to be rescued by the intervention of the divine. He netralled the little ones with his animated anecdotes.

The programme came to a close with pushpanjali as devotees sang devotional bhajans. Children received prasad from Brahmachariji.
